About Mama Manoa

Mama Manoa’s was born in Manoa to serve the best Pizza, Chicken Wings, Sandwiches and healthy Salads to the University, Honolulu and Manoa neighborhoods. We use quality, fresh and local ingredients and have a passion for great taste and the community. Our open-air, covered lanai features Rainbow Falls, a fresh herb garden and large screen televisions to enjoy University of Hawaii, High School and Professional sports broadcasts. Mama Manoa pays tribute to Hawaii’s athletes and former University of Hawaii sports legends with photographs and memorabilia that bring back memories of great moments and people from Hawaii. Many of the players shown on the walls are customers of Mama Manoa so you may be sitting next to a celebrity or star next time you visit the restaurant.

Mama Manoa is “The Home” of University of Hawaii Rainbow Warrior Spirit! When you walk in the door you will “know” that you are in “Rainbow Warrior” Country. The entire restaurant inside and out is dedicated to promoting University of Hawaii Spirit which is something that has been missing in Manoa for a very long time. While our walls tell the story of our athletes, it is our hearts that tell the story of our love for the University and everything Rainbow Warrior. There is no better or fitting place to enjoy a pre or post game meal or even watch the game than Mama Manoa.

Supporting our Community and the University of Hawaii…

Our location in Manoa is a gem of a valley community nestled against the majestic Ko’olau Mountains only minutes from the University of Hawaii campus. The place is very special and home to students, faculty, alumni and a diverse population of people from all corners of the World. In serving this historic and vibrant community, Mama Manoa gives back by providing a percentage of our profits to two important causes. One is the Mason Kekoa Scholarship Fund that provides local high school students with a scholarship to attend the University of Hawaii. Visit www.masonkekoa.com. The other is Cooling Cancer which is a local non-profit that raises money for cancer research. We believe that the eradication of cancer in our lifetime is obtainable and will donate a portion of our profits to Cooling Cancer which in turn donates all of its proceeds to the University of Hawaii Cancer Center.  Learn more about our partnership with Cooling Cancer at www.coolingcancer.org.
